Your student information
This page describes the invitation-only adult learning service.
Information used for lessons
A profile uses a name or nickname, an invited email address, a reading-check summary, a story language setting, lesson progress and separate home-review progress. Reading-check answers are used to calculate a summary; the saved result is a starting recommendation.
Sign-in and storage
Email codes verify access without student passwords. Sign-in cookies keep a session open for up to seven days. Temporary challenge records, failed-attempt counts and hashed request identifiers help limit misuse. The site does not record your voice or use advertising analytics.
Cloudflare hosts the website and database. Resend delivers student invitations and sign-in codes. It receives the destination email address and message content for delivery. Email open and click tracking are not configured. Teacher access uses GitHub public identity, not private repository permissions.
Who can see a profile
The teacher manages lesson profiles and review access. A signed-in student can access their own profile and released stories. Other students cannot browse it. A small browser queue may hold unsent progress so it can retry after a connection problem.
Keeping or removing information
Lesson records remain until the teacher removes them. Expired sign-in records are cleaned up automatically. Ask during a lesson if you need a profile corrected or removed. Use a nickname if you prefer, and avoid including sensitive personal details.
